Rem.: The contents are largely similar to those of the other secret books for litigation masters (or pettifoggers, 訟師), such like 折獄奇編, but organized differently. The examples of accusation and rebuttal (in j. 1 and 2) do not include the magistrate’s answer. J. 3 is devoted to classified phrases and formulas (硃語 and 珥語), some of which run to long sentences ; the last section, entitled 呈結諸式, features a number of models for declarations, guarantees, affidavits, and the like. (The first entry is a complaint against the acting magistrate’s fiscal extorsion.) The narrow upper register is devoted to explaining the pronunciation of characters.
