Abstract

A manuscript collection of penal cases of Qianlong reign involving officials accused for crimes. The accusations cover a wide range of offences such as embezzlement, wrong judgments, unauthorized killing, etc. The cases seem to be sorted in the chronological order, beginning with one dated the 12th year of Qianlong (1747) and ending the 44th year (1779). Most of the cases were concluded by the Qianlong’s opinions in imperial rescripts. (Wang Zhiqiang)
