A large collection of judicial decisions, reports and sentences, as well as public proclamations and announcements, composed by the author during several magistracies in Zhejiang. The documents in j. 1-4 date from the author‟s acting magistracy of Guiji 會稽: j. 1 includes 63 answers (pi  批) to plaintiffs, and  j. 2 has 32 judgements (pan 判), each entry being listed under the plaintiff‟s name;  j. 3 includes 8 communications (bing 稟) to the author‟s superior on various administrative problems;  j. 4 is composed of proclamations to his yamen  personnel and to the populace.  One notes four detailed communications and two “refutations” (bianzheng  辯正) on the dredging of a watergate called Sanjiang zha 三江閘, concerning which the author convened the gentry of Guiji, Xiaoshan and Shanyin to dicuss the problem.  J. 5-6 concern the author‟s tenure in Taiping 太平, with judicial answers and sentences in j. 5 (53 entries), and various reports, correspondences, and proclamations in  j. 6 (25 entries). The organization of the materials is the same in  j. 7-8, which correspond to the author‟s tenure at Linhai  臨海, with 21 and 13 entries, respectively.
